actionfigures
“action figures” is a serie of photographs that documents
short performances. Part of the performances were three
cubic, manlike, statues made of cloth and wood and the
artist. During the short performances the artist looked
for relationship between the statue, himself and the
space they were in. The moment and the action of falling
proofed to be the moment on which artist as statue were
most the same. Falling beyond control, weightless, untill
they hid the ground again.
All photograps are sized 75 x 50 cm .
